TXT FIRE Photo and Video Contest.
Every year the Binondo-Paco Volunteer's TxtFire hold a Photo and Video contest showing the best of Fire and Rescue Industry and Community. Every year many aspiring photographers joins this Prestigious Contest and whoever got the best photo will grabbed a cash and a trophy.
Its a different kind of Photo Contest because it involved risk. Risking your equipments thru exposure of Water and Heat, Dust and Smoke. Just like our Firefighters these photo enthusiast also risk their life just to get a clear picture of the action.
This year many Firefighter-Photogrpahers have joined in the Contest. And some of them are lucky to win.
That includes our Fire Chief (Freedom07) My Brother. He is also now a Photo and Video Enthusiast. He inspires many to do the same. Congrats bro!!! He by the way won in the Video Category.

January 24, 2009, 9pm (My Flight to Qatar)
Today, January 24, 2009 is my flight to qatar. I am now leaving all my family behind. 3 month
I will be alone in qatar. What will I expect of Qatar? How is the climate there?
How about the people? So many questions in my mind. But I need to focus on my job!
So from this point on my life now will turn 360 degrees.

Pinoyvolunteer Goes Rapelling
This is also the 1st Pinoyvolunteer organized rapelling, We have given them a crash course of it. Thanks to Dragon4 and Dragon17, Emperor18 and 31 and other BJL 41s, Also thanks to Mokz75 of Cebu Volunteers, Octagon18 and 25 for the additional equipment and a helping hand.
We have shown them how to descend down using a rope. It was a fun day of learning and skill building. Next week we will teach them Rope Management and High Angle Rescue. Step by Step they will eventually absorb the skills.
